Are you strictly looking for a house to rent? As a realtor® at SV Real Estate, I have access to all rental homes listed on the MLS in Austin (Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, and Round Rock). Most rental home owners have the following qualification requirements:
Credit score above 650
Good rental history
No criminal background
Combined income of all applicants must be 3 times (sometimes 3.5 times) the rent
Standard deposit is equal to one month rent.
Preferably being able to move in within 14-30 days.
Applicants with Bad Credit
Chance of you being approved is EXTREMELY slim. If your rental history and criminal background are good, and your income is well above 3.5 times the rent, to make up for dissatisfactory credit, very few owners may consider you with either:
1) the whole entire lease term being paid up front including the standard deposit
-or-
2) an additional deposit equal to one or two months rent. For example: if the rent is $3,000, you will pay a standard deposit of $3,000 and an additional deposit of $3,000 (or $6,000 if two-month deposit is required. Using this example, $6,000 (or $9,000) will be due to you upon move-in.

What if I am relocating? How will I be able to schedule a touring appointment?
That is not a problem. I have assist many clients from out of town. We can either facetime while I am touring the properties on your behalf or I can upload a video of the properties for you to view. Your choice.
